HEART OF HEALING ONLINE IMMERSION RETREAT, AUGUST 18-23, 2020

Due to COVID-19 the Sacred Heart Monastery is closed through August, but that is not going to keep us from gathering together and retreating at home! All the same wonderful experiences will be made available to you but through the gift of virtual teachings and workshops, and times of devotion and spiritual growth. What cannot be adequately conveyed in a schedule might best be seen in this testimony from one who attended the immersion retreats before:

“Arriving at the retreat I was immediately put at ease by the smiling and welcoming hearts of Lori and Sharon. The first yoga practice took me to a place I had never been before in my body and mind while in a yoga class. I was hooked! I knew I was in the right place with the right people for me. Even though I had been afraid and anxious, I was now finding peace just being in the company of such remarkable women of God. Women who felt like me, cared about the things of God the way I did, and desired more out of life than what we had been experiencing at church. And that was just the first half day! From there my joy and freedom grew as I spent time in silence and meditation. I heard God speak to my heart in a new way, a deeper way than ever before. The times spent discussing heart issues, and also learning about my physical heart, came together for me and I saw for the first time how interconnected my body was to my mind and my purpose. The whole week was life-changing for me, and I still utilize the techniques and tools I learned while on retreat. But one other thing that was such a surprise was how much fun I could have with women I had never met before but who became dear friends in just a few days! It’s amazing what the Lord can do when we open our hearts to Him!” – Carol Q.
